This week we started off with some measuring activities to challenge our brains. Dr Biddulph came in and everyone went crazy about measuring his tie which was 53cm long!

We had decimal challenges and lots of murder mystery’s to work on during the week, here is one of the super fun puzzles that we worked on.

Throughout the week we finished off our Alfred Russel Wallace learning and we created some truly stunning writing. Everyone was very proud of their learning and learnt something new! Did you know that his ship the Brig Helen burnt down on the way back from his four year trip to Brazil?

On Friday morning we had three fun hours of drama. We played games and did cool drama activities with the acting company Bigfoot! A few games we really enjoyed were zombie and silent ball.

This is zombie,

And this is silent ball! It was a close game but in the end we had a winner. After our warm up games we did some role plays to find out more about our differences and similarities. It was an exciting experience and we were so grateful for the opportunity.
