We are all so unbelievably proud of our Year 6s this week!
They have taken their SATs papers with great maturity and all tried their absolute best, which is all we can ask for. They have also thoroughly enjoyed having extra time outside for extended break time.
In our other learning:
STEM
We have continued with our light investigation, eliminating another suspect from our list as we learnt and experimented with light refraction.
English
This week we have continued learning about and writing our dystopian stories.
Project
We have been learning and experimenting further with our Lego Spike programming, with the focus this week being on following a line by using the colour sensor.
Next Week:
Maths – We will be starting a theme park project, with the Year 6s creating their own theme park through completing a series of different mathematical tasks.
English – We will continue writing our dystopian stories, focusing specifically on character and setting description.
STEM – In STEM, we will be concluding our light investigation and will hopefully be figuring out who the culprit is of the school theft and break in!
Project – We will be continuing onto the next stage of Lego Spike programming and learning more code that we can use in our final Robot Wars next term.
