Year 6 have had an exciting week filled with learning and exploration. We ended the week with a special visitor who taught us about BMX riding – we discovered some very talented riders in Year 6!
In English, we’ve been gathering information about the British Empire for our non-fiction texts. We explored how to organize information and practiced different methods for planning our writing. We’ll begin publishing these next week, and we can’t wait to read them!

In our Project lessons, we continued learning about the expansion of the British Empire, with a focus on the Commonwealth this week.
In Science, we’ve been studying the effects of drugs on the body.
