We have had another amazing week in Year 6!

In writing, we have been finishing drafting our information texts ready for editing and publishing next term. We are looking forward to creating our class anthologies.

In Maths, we have been continuing to focus on long multiplication, moving onto regrouping. The sheets from this week, for extra practice, can be found here: Maths sheets Au1 W8

We have also written and published our double page spreads, answering our history enquiry question: What is the legacy of the British Empire?

They have also enjoyed creating some art inspired by black artists, to celebrate Black History Month.

This week, the children did incredibly well in their first Year 6 assessment week, experiencing the week as it will be for SATs in May. A great effort put in by all!

Notices:

  • Term 2 will begin on Monday 3rd November 2025

Have a lovely, well deserved half term break!
