This wonderful week in Year 5:
In English, we have finished preparing and presented our Windrush exhibition during Family Friday, showing our wonderful learning and Art projects! Th children have really enjoyed working, learning and researching about the Windrush.
In Maths, we have revised angles, learning how to classify, estimate and draw angles. The children were amazing, really focusing on using the various resources such as protractors and rulers to draw precise angles.
In STEM, we have finished our Microbes unit, looking at how to prevent infections.
In Guided Reading, we are now discovering about The Explorer’s past! How he had a family and has lived in the Amazon for a long time.
As always, here are some Spanish exercises to challenge your language skills!
Next Week:
- Friday end of term, school will end at 13:30
- PE kits will be sent home
- Book will be sent home on Wednesday 17th July, so it would be helpful if the children could bring bags to take them
