It’s been an exciting week full of learning and creativity here. Our students have been busy with a variety of activities across different subjects, and we’re thrilled to share their progress with you
English:
This week in English, we began publishing our short stories! The children have worked so hard on these, and it’s amazing to see their creativity shine. Some stories are out of this world (literally!), with plots about outer space and even plane crashes. We’re proud of how much effort they’ve put into their writing, and we can’t wait for you to read their finished pieces on Family Friday.
Maths:
In maths, we wrapped up our unit on multiplication. The students have really improved, and they’re getting quicker and more confident with their times tables! It’s been fantastic to see how much they’ve grown in this area. This week, Amazon Class took home the trophy for the fastest multiplication scores—well done to them!
Religious Education (RE):
In RE, we’ve been exploring the theme of forgiveness, and the students created beautiful paintings to reflect their understanding. The artwork captures some powerful interpretations of this important theme, and it’s been wonderful to see their creativity in expressing such a meaningful concept.
Gymnastics:
In gymnastics, the children have been focusing on two key skills: traveling and balance. They learned the difference between the two and worked on creating a sequence of movements. Some of our more adventurous students challenged themselves with a cartwheel—what a fantastic effort from everyone!
It’s been another busy and exciting week. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work and enthusiasm that the students have shown across all subjects.
