What a wonderful week we have had in Year 4! We have been blown away with the children’s passion and dedication to their learning.
In English, we have been focusing on fronted adverbials and conjunctions. We have been using the Odyssey as inspiration, imaging that we were Odysseus writing a diary entry after his tricky decision.
In Maths, we used our place value knowledge to explore ordering 4 digit numbers.
In History, we looked at democracy, exploring its links with Ancient Greece and how this is reflected today comparing it with democracy in the UK. We have been learning about direct democracy and representative democracy.
In Science, we continued learning about the digestive system. We focused on vitamins and minerals and explored how these are used in the body.
