What a fantastic week we have had in Year 4!
We were incredibly lucky to welcome Michael Rosen for a special workshop. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to him and taking part in activities that inspired them to create their own poems about taking refuge. It was a wonderful opportunity for the pupils to explore their creativity and express their thoughts and feelings through poetry.
In Maths, we have been learning about plotting coordinates and translations. The children have been practising how to translate coordinates and have shown great enthusiasm and determination in developing these important skills. Here is a practise sheet for you to do at home:
In DT, we have started designing and planning the creation of our own biscuit boxes. The children were very excited to begin learning about graphic design and technology. They have enjoyed exploring how packaging is designed and are looking forward to creating their own products in the coming weeks. They also created 3D shapes from 2D nets. Well done to the pupils who managed to created snub cube- that was super challenging.

Please ensure that your child bring correct PE kit to school. PE takes place twice a week, so it is important that children are prepared for both sessions.
