Hello Year 4 families!

What an incredible week we’ve had in Year 4! Children have been fully engaged in a variety of subjects, each exploring fascinating concepts.

In math, we’ve been learning about Roman numerals up to 100, and it’s been wonderful to see the students embrace this new way of counting. Please find a worksheet to practice at home: roman numerals worksheet

In history, we’ve delved into the world of ancient Greek gods, sparking lively discussions and imaginative storytelling. Please watch the video  with your child and check knowledge and comprehension with this worksheet: ep2_comprehension_questions

In English, the students have been honing their editing and proofreading skills by revising their own Greek myths, allowing their creativity to shine through.

Our STEM lessons have been a hit, especially our egg experiment where we observed changes in eggs left in different liquids like milk, orange juice, vinegar, and water. The results have been both surprising and educational!

In PSHE, we’ve discussed the importance of rules and why we have them, fostering a greater understanding of our community values. Additionally, in RE, we revisited the story of the Buddha, encouraging thoughtful reflection on its lessons.

Spanish learning for this week: Y4 WK6

Please, bring a family photo for our family wall in the classroom

As the weather is getting colder, please provide your child with a warmer PE kit.

Thank you for your continued support at home.

Have a wonderful weekend.
