It’s been another busy week in Year 4!
In Maths, we’ve been learning about decimals, focusing on tenths. The children are doing a great job understanding decimal numbers and how to compare them. We’re really proud of their progress! Maths Worksheets W5
In English, the children have been planning and writing their pieces about biomes. They’ve been exploring different ecosystems and how plants and animals are specially adapted to survive. It’s been wonderful to see their creativity in action!
In Geography, we’ve been looking at temperate forests, learning about the weather, plants, and animals that live there. We also had some important discussions about deforestation and how it affects our planet.
In RSE, the children have been learning about the differences between male and female body parts. They’ve been labelling diagrams and talking about the importance of understanding their bodies in a respectful and informative way.
Finally, a quick reminder to please encourage your child to use Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) a few times each week. It’s a fun way to practice multiplication and help them prepare for the Maths Multiplication Check later this year.
