We’ve had a fantastic week in class with lots of creativity and new learning!
✏️ English – Creative Story Writing
This week the children have been using fronted adverbials to help improve their sentences and create their own character-driven stories. The ideas have been amazing! Some children are writing about mythical worlds in the future, while others are telling stories about finding a phoenix in a field of tulips.
➗ Maths – Long Multiplication
In Maths, we have started long multiplication. It’s great to see that many children already know their times tables, as this really helps with this new method.
🔬 Science – States of Matter
In Science, we are learning about states of matter and how materials change when heated and cooled.
