Ask your children to explain why THAT is a haiku! Year 3 have been writing haiku poetry based on the weather. They were very quick to spot the pattern within this form of poetry and relished the challenge of writing within the rules! During Maths we have been subtracting two numbers where one or more exchange is needed- the children really persevered with this learning and could apply new strategies- well done Year 3! It was wonderful to share the learning from this half term during Family Friday, thank you to everyone who came- there was a super atmosphere across the quad!
