Another learning filled week in Year 3!
In English, we finally drafted the first version of our fairy tales, and the children produced some incredible writing, using a variety of writing devices especially well, like the Power of 3. Next week, we will start revising our work to improve it further!
In Maths, we continued exploring multiplication, working with the 4 and 8 times table. It is amazing to see the children becoming more and more confident! Next week, we will continued with multiplication and division.
In History, we compared Stone Age and Iron Age, looking at how humans improved in various aspects of life, such as houses, farming and general tools.
In STEM, we continued to explore forces and looked at magnetism, devising an experiment to find the strongest magnet out of 5. The children worked wonderfully as a team to conduct the experiment and to create tables to record their results.

- Reminder to bring warm clothes and wellies/waterproofs for Forest School, as it will happen in any weather.
