Incredible first week back in Year 3!
In English, we have started our new unit on information texts. The children explore various texts and discussed the important features of an information text, then, we choose our topics! It was lovely to see all the different topics they have chosen, from dogs to gymnastics and dinosaurs!
In Maths, we have started our journey through addition and subtraction by looking at adding and subtracting 1s, 10s and 100s using place value charts. It was great to see the children secure on their place value knowledge.

In STEM, we have started exploring parts of a plant and the process of pollination, which we continued in our “parts of a plant” posters.
In Geography, we recapped map knowledge and looked at the different types of maps and their use.
