It was wonderful to welcome so many of you into our classrooms this mornings- the children loved sharing their learning and there were so many moments of joy! The children have worked incredibly hard this past half term and we are proud of what they have achieved. We have been particularly impressed with their newspaper reports based on the Iron Man- it was great to see them sharing these with you during Family Friday.
During English we drafted, edited and published our informative double page spreads about the rivers we researched. The children took so much pride in these final outcomes and they look fantastic!
During Maths we have been continuing our unit on addition and subtraction. Our main focus this week was finding complements to 100. Here are some of our sheets: Maths
During our final project lesson we showcased all of our learning by creating our own knowledge maps.
Next week we have a couple of things to be aware of.
Monday 18th – Christmas jumper day and school Christmas lunch. Come with some festive attire!
Wednesday 20th – Last day of school. Children will be collected at 1.30pm
There won’t be a blog published next week so we would like to wish you all a very happy holiday! We look forward to seeing you all again in 2024.
