What an incredibly warm week! Nevertheless, the children did amazing and we continued to learn wonderfully.

In English, we created more poems related to nature, this time trying to raise awareness to any problems nature might be facing. The children did an amazing job and created wonderful poems that talked about pollution, deforestation, oceans and much more.

In Maths, we continued exploring fractions and looked at equivalent fractions and how to recognise them. We looked at different ways, such as visual representation and bar model, to find a fraction of an amount, and the children used their previous knowledge and mastered it very quickly, well done to all! Maths

In STEM, we created a buzzing game using our knowledge of electricity and cirucits.

Next Week:

  • On Wednesday, it will be Maple’s Wandlebury Trip
  • As always, a gentle reminder that, even if the weather becomes more manageable, the school still requires children to have both sun cream and hats to go outside and play in the sun.
