What an incredible start of the half term in Year 3!

In English, we have explored our project, which is to create an amazing poem on climate change! The children have loved the idea and have been reviewing their knowledge on nouns, verbs and adjectives to get ready to craft!

In Maths, we have learned how to calculate the perimeter of a shape, and we have also started to use our reasoning on shapes to figure out which sides need to be found and which ones we might already know based on information (e.g. squares and rectangles).

In STEM, we have started our unit on Skeletons and Nutrition, exploring the various types of diets before going into more detail about how much sugar is in some modern foods and how to build a healthy diet.

In Project, we have started exploring what climate is by looking at our planet and the various climate zones.

As always, if you would like to challenge yourself in Spanish, here are some quick games related to our unit of age and numbers!
