Amazing week in Year 3!
In English, we continued crafting our spooky stories, focusing on the sense of sight to create spooky details about the settings, which are all amazing! From haunted houses to spooky classrooms, the children are creating incredible narratives. Next week, we will finish our spooky stories and start our editing process, exploring the use of thesauruses.
In Maths, we worked with number lines, focusing on recognising intervals on number lines and practising in a practical way. Next week, we will start comparing numbers up to 1000.
In STEM, the children developed their understanding of different soils and their properties. Next week, we will look at real life fossils!
In History, we continued to explore Ancient Egypt, discussing their hierarchy and delving into the process of mummification. Next week, we will look at the different deities that Ancient Egyptians worshipped.
