What an incredibly exciting week in Year 3!
In English, we finished our fairy tales and started editing them to be the best they can be! The children worked really hard and used various resources to check their spellings, punctuation and sentence structure, leading to some great revisions and stories.
In Maths, we continued exploring times tables and division, focusing on the 8s and 9s. We played multiplication games and created a poster to explain the 9 times tables. It was really nice to see all the children using their maths knowledge with such enthusiasm!
In STEM, we continued exploring magnets and experiments what happens when same and different magnetic poles interact with each other.
In Project, we learned about the most famous mysterious stone circle in the UK, Stonehenge. We discussed what its used could have been and had an amazing debate on sources and prehistory.

- Please, if you have not done so, send back the swimming permission forms, as your child will not be able to participate otherwise.
- Reminder that Forest School will happen regardless of weather, so please come with plenty of layers and waterproofs
- Reminder that next Friday afternoon from 14:30 will be our Family Friday!
