Welcome back to Year 3 everyone! What a week!
In English, we have started our editing process, having just looked at capital letters and ambitious vocabulary. Our Fairy Tales continue to improve! Next week, we will finish our editing and finally go onto publishing.
In Maths, we have started looking at measurements and connecting centimetres and millimetres to our rulers and revising how to use them. Next week, we will start looking at how to calculate the perimeter of a 2d shape.
In STEM, we explored nutrition and healthy foods, giving a deeper look at how much sugar there is in some everyday foods. We also analised the diet of a fictional character and helped him improve it.
In Geography, we started looking at climate zones, focusing on the polar regions and how they are being affected by climate change.
