What a successful week in year 3!
In English, we have continued writing our fables, which are now starting to develop. The children have been incredible and have created some amazing fable characters. From courageous mice to arrogant snow leopard, the stories have been truly inspiring!
In Maths, we have explored how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominator. We delved deeper into fractions and it was great to see how expertly the children navigated these new topics.
In STEM, we continued exploring electricity and circuits, devising and experiment to test whether a circuit would work or not.
Also, we went on our first trip of Year 3! It was incredible and the children had great fun and learned a lot about the iron age and what it looked like in a real iron age settlement! Additionally, the Year 3 team would like to give a big thank you to all the parents who volunteered, we were all very grateful for your support throughout the day!

- Reminder that next week will be our sports day. Please send your children to school wearing their PE kit.
- As always, reminder that the weather is going to be really hot in the next weeks, so please send your children with both hats and sun cream.
