What a full week for Year 3!

In English, we continued exploring Fairy Tales and studied their structure, ultimately creating our own plan. The children’s creativity really stood out here, as they constructed complex stories based on their initial ideas. Everything from evil dragons to space dogs came to life, and we can’t wait to see their completed stories!

In Maths, we explored arrays and their connection to multiplication, continuing to build our knowledge and starting to explore the 3 and 4 times tables. The children have shown amazing resilience, and their Maths fluency was great, instantly connecting arrays to times tables and using them to solve and work with trickier exercises.

In STEM, we have explored the concept of Friction and experimented which material would be best to create a sports field. We also delved deeper and represented our results using bar charts.

In Project, we looked at how early humans’ lives changes during the Iron Age.
