Thank you so much for attending learning conversations with us – it is such a wonderful way to celebrate the children and their progress throughout the year and we look forward to continuing to work together to support them as the summer term continues.

In English this week we have used our guided reading text, Varjak Paw, to come up with some excellent examples of personification, describing how the cars appear to him more like mechanical dog-like monsters than vehicles. In Maths we have continued our work on equal parts and have re-introduced unit fractions. And in STEM we have enjoyed exploring and testing out different circuits. Whether that was making lightbulbs glow bright, propellers spin or having the class orchestrate a less than tuneful cacophony of buzzers!

Next week:

Maths: continuing our work on unit fractions
English: exploring narrative writing with Varjak Paw
STEM: continuing work on circuits

Maths sheets from this week
