Very exciting week in Year 3 with our first Forest School session, during which the children had time and resources to build their own dens!
In English, we have continued exploring Fairy Tales and finalised the general ideas for our stories and gave them a provisional title. The children had an incredible time and came up with some amazing Fairy Tales, such as “The Star with Glasses” and “The Dragon of Draihem”, we all can’t wait to see them actualised!
In Maths, we explored the relationship between arrays and repeated addition with the beginning of multiplication. It was great to see the children explore the connections, showing how deep their understanding is.
In STEM, we started looking at forces and how they affect our everyday lives and the universe, beginning from push and pull. We experimented with those forces and looked at how external factors might affect them.
In History, we debated the role that Stonehenge played throughout history and came up with many hypotheses.
