What a wonderful week we have had in Year 3! The children have worked incredibly hard this week and they should be very proud of all the learning they have done!
In English, he children have finished their nature inspired poems and they are INCREDIBLE! We can’t wait to show them off next week at Family Friday.
In Maths, we explored division of 2-digit numbers by 1 digit numbers. We explored different methods including using place value charts and number lines. The children were able to draw on their knowledge of previously learnt times tables and really enjoyed challenging themselves! Here are some practice sheets to explore at home: Maths
In STEM, we have continued our unit on Skeletons and Nutrition.
In Geography, we wrote speeches about climate change.
In Project, we explored extreme weather events around the world, we used our knowledge of the map of the world to help us place symbols in the correct location.
As always, if you would like to challenge yourself in Spanish, here are some quick games related to our unit of age and numbers!
