It has been a short but super week!
In English we continued to work on our information texts, thinking about how we could use generalisers and show cause and effect in our paragraphs. These are shaping up to be an exciting showcase of the children’s personal interests!
In Maths we used our knowledge of number bonds to 10 to bridge backwards in subtraction. We have also explored using numberlines alongside partitioning to help show our thought processes. To consolidate this learning please see maths sheets here: Maths sheet
In Geography we made colourful mini-posters in our humanities books identifying the features of rivers.
In Guided Reading we are continuing to read the Ice Palace by Robert Swindells.
