Another wonderful week in Year 3!
In English, we explored statements and the rules they follow, subsequently creating our own. The children were amazing and created some incredible statements!
In Maths, we continued to explore place value and looked at hundreds and used various resources such as counters and dienes to represent them and partition them using the part-whole model.
In STEM, we explored the three types of rocks and tried to find them on our playground. The children had tons of fun and categorised all the various rocks’ properties.
In History, we looked at the story of Howard Carter and how he discovered Tutankhamun’s tomb.
