Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to all parents for your support during Sports Day this week. We all had an amazing time and the weather was kind to us. We were very impressed with the children’s behaviour and sportsmanship.
It was wonderful to see so many families come to celebrate their children’s learning during our last Family Friday of the school year.
This week in maths, we have been learning all about coins and notes. It would be great if you could count up some spare change at home! Here is a link to maths sheets.
In English we have been writing poems all about our likes and dislikes. Have a go at writing a poem together at home.
In phonics we have been learning to use the /ear/ sound

Next week:
Next week is the last of the school year.
On Monday, classes will have jump up day in the afternoon. This is a chance for the children to meet their new class teacher! Thank you in advance for supporting us in helping the children to have a smooth transition. We hope this will be a joyful experience for all.
We will be sending most children’s books home next week on Wednesday. Please can children bring in a strong bag to put these in as they might be heavy to carry.
There are no clubs next week and school will end at 1:30 on Friday.
