In English, we have been writing a non-chronological report on the Jewish festival Rosh Hashanah. We have been focusing to using capital letters and full stops. If you would like to continue this at home, your child can create a non-chronological report on a choice of their favourite sport / animal / festival etc. Here is a template Fact file template
Maths
This week the children have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. They have enjoyed exploring the classroom on a hunt for different shapes and being able to identify properties of shapes (faces, edges, vertices, sides). Why not go on a shape scavenger hunt at home or out on a walk and see how many different 2D and 3D shapes you can find! Shape

Notices
It is sports day next Tuesday. Please make sure your child arrives at school in their PE kit ready to participate in the sports day events first thing. Please make sure suncream is applied before school and your child has a sunhat and water bottle.
Next Friday afternoon, it is family Friday in the morning so please arrive at your child’s classroom at normal drop off time. This is a chance to sit with your child and celebrate their progress this year.
