We’ve had another lovely week in Year 1.
In Maths, we have been learning to partition numbers so understanding that 56 is made up of 50 and 6 ( 5 tens and 6 ones). This is an incredibly important skill going to forward so do practice it at home if you can. We have also been using number lines to 100 and looking at how the numbers can come in different intervals.

In Writing, we have been planning our instruction books. This week we have been drawing our pictures and thinking carefully about sequencing our instructions.
In PE, we have begun tennis which the children really enjoyed. In DT we are looking at bridges and different structures.
