Wow – what a whirlwind it’s been! We can’t quite believe we’ve reached the end of Year 1.
Looking back over the year, it’s incredible to see just how far the children have come. Seeing the new Reception classes has reminded us of just how much they have grown, both academically and personally. The progress they’ve made in their Reading, Writing and Maths is a testament to their hard work, resilience and enthusiasm for learning, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.
It’s also been wonderful to see the changes across the school this year. Thanks to Ms Alliet, playtimes have been transformed through OPAL, and it’s been fantastic to see the children enjoying so many new opportunities to play, explore and be creative together.
Over the summer holidays, please continue to enjoy reading together and encourage your children to practise their writing and maths little and often. The reports sent home last week include a range of useful resources and ideas that you can use over the break.
Finally, thank you for all your support throughout the year. It has been a pleasure teaching your children, and we wish you all a happy, restful and enjoyable summer.
