As we are approaching the end of our academic year, we would like to say how grateful we feel to be able to work with Meadows Class of 2023-2024.
We had a wonderful year, and it was a pleasure to have your children in our class! It has been a privilege to see them develop and grow! Not just taller every day but to grow to become confident, resilient and happy children with fantastic personalities. We have played and laughed, which has enabled them to learn so much this year!
The last two weeks we are reading the story of the Gingerbread Man, acting it out together, and chanting the words: Run, run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man. We had a great discussion with children to figure out why the Gingerbread Man was scared of the water. As an experiment, we placed a biscuit in a glass of water and watched what happened. The biscuit started to dissolve slowly. Can you do the experiment at home and send us a picture?
On our last week, we will continue to read our favourite stories, sing our favourite songs around the parachute and enjoy outdoor water and sand play as much as we can.
If you are leaving early on holiday, please let the office know and remember to collect your child wellies, suncream and sunhat.
