Dr James Biddulph BA (Hons.) PGCE MA MEd PhD FCCT FRSA – Following my degree, I lived and worked in Nepal and India in primary and secondary schools. I did my PGCE at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. In 2002, inspired by a creative approach to teaching, I gained Advanced Skills Teachers (AST) status in creativity and in 2003 I was awarded Outstanding New Teacher of the Year for London. I supported the transformation of two failing schools in East London, UK, as Deputy Headteacher, and was the inaugural Headteacher of a new Hindu-based primary school. I am delighted to be the first Headteacher of the University of Cambridge Primary School, the first primary University Training School in the UK. In 2017, I completed my PhD which focused on creative learning in ethnic minority immigrant children’s homes. I am a founding fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.
